Madeleine Tate and the Blue Cadillacers

Rarer Cancers Forum Virtual Flower Award 2009/04/22

Madeleine, her sister Jenny Harrop, and friends Jan Schneider and Jane Tari raised £100 for Rarer Cancers Forum.

It all happened on 27 March 2009! Madeleine Tate, her older sister Jenny, and friends Jan and Jane hired an open top blue Cadillac and were driven up and down all the London bridges from Tower Bridge to Richmond Bridge. They stopped in the King's Road, Chelsea to raise money for Rarer Cancers Forum, Ovacome and Ovarian Cancer Action.

Paul Williams of Cool Classic Cars drove and was very generous with his services and time while Jenny's son, Oliver, cycled ahead of the car to take pictures as they crossed the bridges.

Madeleine writes "We had a fantastic day, and it was lovely to see passers by smiling and cheering us on".

Rarer Cancers Forum is very grateful to Madeleine, Jenny, Jan and Jane for their wonderful support and many thanks to Oliver for his great photos! Thanks also to Paul for his part in this innovative fundraising event.
