Rarer Cancers Forum Virtual Flower Award 2006/10/05

Claire was badly injured while training to run the Bristol Half Marathon for the Rarer Cancers Forum. But with the help of her sister she succeeded in raising £3,244.10 for the RCF.

Claire had decided she would run the Bristol Half Marathon to raise funds for the Rarer Cancers Forum. Then, when she was out training for the event, she was knocked down by a car on a pelican crossing and was badly injured. Thankfully, Claire is making a good recovery and we send her our best wishes and an RCF Flower Award to say 'thank you' for thinking of the RCF and trying to help the charity in such a practical way.

In fact, with the help of her sister, Hannah, Claire did in fact succeed in raising a huge sum of money for the Rarer Cancers Forum. Thank you very much, Claire.
