The PCT does not use written protocols to assess exceptional requests for cancer treatments. Membership of the body that assesses exceptional requests for cancer treatment is as follows:

Since 01 October 2006, 60 patients have had their exceptional requests for cancer treatments approved by the PCT. The following treatments were approved:
