Barnsley PCT has considered and approved 37 requests since 01 April 2006. The following treatments were approved:
- Bone marrow transplant
- Taxotere
- Avastin
- MabCampath
- Alpha interferon
- Dasatinib
- Stereotactic radiosurgery
- Velcade
- Sunitinib
- Alimta
- Baxarotene
Cancer treatments not funded by PCT following exceptional requests
Since 01 April 2006, the following cancer treatments were not funded:
- Cetuximab
- Erlotinib
- Alpha interferon
