Information about rare and less common cancers

We are currently developing a new Rare Cancers Information website. The website is a collaborative initiative involving the National Cancer Action Team and Cancer Research UK. The website is supported with an unrestricted grant from Pfizer. Its aim is to improve the care of people with rare and less common cancers.

The website will be a resource for patients, carers and clinicians. It will include information about rare and less common cancers, such as their incidence, characteristics and treatment. We shall also build up a database of consultants with experience in different types of rarer cancer so as to improve the referral process for patients.

If you would like information about our new website or about a rarer cancer, please email us (contact@rarercancers.org.uk)  or telephone 01227 738279.
